01 / What we open & secure

Every lock. Every key. One call.

Ten core services, flat-rate ranges published up front. The exact number comes before the work starts — on the phone.

02 / The SwiftKey standard

Honest trade. Verifiable license. Price that holds.

To be the locksmith Las Vegas can trust by name — licensed, vetted, and incapable of quoting one price and charging another.

Phone Quote = Door Price

The number we give on the phone is a contract. We have never charged a different amount at the door and never will. If something changes on-site, we stop and re-quote before touching the lock.

Licensed & Verified Techs

Every tech on every call carries a current Nevada locksmith license. We verify ownership before opening any door or vehicle — it protects you and it protects us. Ask to see the license card on every visit.

No-Damage-First Methods

We pick before we drill. Period. Drilling destroys a cylinder that often could have been opened non-destructively; we carry the tools, training, and patience to do it right. We explain why drilling is necessary before we ever reach for the drill.

Honest Security Advice

We will tell you when your current locks are adequate and when they are not. A security audit report from us is a graded, prioritized list — not a sales pitch. Most findings cost $0 to address.

03 / How it works

From first ring to locked-in

Flat-rate quote on the phone, verified ownership at the door, clean work every time

  1. 1

Call — Get Your Flat Rate

Describe the situation and we give you a complete flat-rate total on the phone — including any after-hours or location factor. That number does not change. No dispatch first, quote later.

  2. 2

Tech Rolls — ETA by Text

A licensed SwiftKey technician is dispatched immediately. You get an SMS with the tech's name, photo, and ETA. Average on-site time across the Valley is 24 minutes.

  3. 3

    Identity & Ownership Verified

Before opening anything, our tech verifies your photo ID and your ownership or right-of-access. It takes 60 seconds and protects everyone. This step is non-negotiable — it is also why we get the occasional review calling us thorough rather than quick.

  4. 4

Work Performed — No-Damage Methods First

We pick, decode, or use specialized opening tools before considering any destructive method. Most lockouts are opened non-destructively in under 10 minutes. Any exception is explained before we proceed.

  5. 5

Invoice Matches the Quote — Done

You pay the number we quoted on the phone. We hand you a receipt, make sure the lock works correctly, and ask if you have any questions. No upsell pressure, no "while I'm here" add-ons unless you ask.

You're back inside — and you know the exact amount before we even leave the shop.

Locked my keys in the car in a casino parking garage on a 108-degree July afternoon. Marcus quoted me $95 on the phone, was at my car in 19 minutes, opened a 2023 Camry without a scratch, and took $95. Exactly what he said. After dealing with the ad-bait-and-switch guys before, I nearly cried. This is how it should work.

Just moved to Summerlin from out of state and called SwiftKey to rekey my new house — all five cylinders including the back slider's deadbolt. Delia arrived on time, rekeyed everything to a single key, reinforced two weak strike plates she noticed while she was here, and charged exactly what was quoted. She also told me my front door lock was a Grade 3 hardware and gave me options without any pressure. Excellent.

Lost my only key to my 2021 F-150. Jordan came out, cut and programmed a new transponder key in the parking lot of my office, and my truck started perfectly. His price was $195. My Ford dealer quoted $420. The math is obvious. I now keep Jordan's card in my wallet.

Called at 2:15 AM because I was locked out of my apartment in Spring Valley. Sandra answered on the first ring, kept me calm, sent me a tech ETA by text, and the tech arrived in 22 minutes. He showed me his ID and my lease before opening the door. This level of professionalism at 2 AM is remarkable. Will never call anyone else.

Manage seven short-term rentals in Henderson. SwiftKey designed a master key system and rekeyed the whole portfolio in a single day. Delia had a detailed key matrix to me before she left. When a guest locked themselves out last month at midnight, Jordan was there in 17 minutes. Worth every cent of the KeySafe Plan.

Had Marcus do a security audit on our home in Green Valley after a neighbor was burglarized. He graded every lock on the block and found our back gate had a Grade 3 padlock that could be shimmed open. He replaced it with a Mul-T-Lock on the spot for a fair price. He also pointed out our strike plates were single-screw — fixed those too. Felt like he was advising a friend, not selling.

Decent service but scheduling was a little tight — they were running behind on a busy Saturday and my appointment slipped about 45 minutes. The tech called to update me and was apologetic. When he arrived he did the rekey cleanly and quickly. Price was exactly as quoted. Would book again for the honesty and quality, just add buffer on weekends.

Called for a smart lock install on a Schlage Encode Plus. The tech installed it perfectly, connected it to Apple Home, tested the backup key, and explained the user code setup in five minutes. My only comment is I wish they carried a wider selection of finishes in-stock — they had to order the matte black for me. But the work itself was spotless.

Straight answers to real questions

Real answers about pricing, licensing, and what separates a legit locksmith from a scam.

Q.01Why do so many locksmith ads show "$19 service call" and the final bill is $300?

That is a documented scam pattern — a fake or unlicensed operation lists a lead price to get you to call, then the tech invents a "drilling fee," "special tool surcharge," or "after-hours rate" at the door. They know you will pay it because you have no alternative. SwiftKey gives you the complete flat-rate total on the phone before dispatch. If the price at the door differs from what we quoted, you owe us nothing and we leave. That policy is the only way to earn trust in this industry.

Q.02How much does a car lockout cost in Las Vegas?

We charge $75–$150 for automotive lockouts depending on the vehicle make, model, and type of opening required. Luxury vehicles with sophisticated door electronics (some BMWs, Teslas, newer Mercedes) sit at the higher end. The figure we quote on the phone is the figure you pay — no after-hours surcharges, no "service entry fee" layered on top.

Q.03Should I rekey or replace my locks when I move in?

Rekeying is almost always the right answer. The previous owner — and everyone they ever gave a key to — can still enter your home until you rekey. Rekeying a cylinder takes about 10 minutes and costs $25–$60 per lock; it changes the internal pins to match a new key while keeping all your existing hardware. Replacement only makes sense if the hardware is damaged, low-grade, or you are upgrading to a higher security cylinder at the same time.

Q.04How much does a replacement car key cost compared to the dealer?

For most vehicles with transponder keys or key fobs, we charge $85–$280 depending on the make. Dealerships typically charge $350–$600 for the same key and often require a tow. We come to you, cut the key on-site, and program the immobilizer chip using the same OEM data the dealer uses. Jordan is NASTF Vehicle Security Professional registered — that registration is what provides legitimate access to manufacturer immobilizer data.

Q.05What is the difference between bump-resistant and pick-resistant locks?

Bump resistance is protection against "lock bumping," where a specially cut key is struck to momentarily set the pins — it defeats most residential Grade 2–3 deadbolts in under 30 seconds. Pick resistance refers to tolerance between the driver and key pins; high-security cylinders like Medeco and Mul-T-Lock use angled, rotating, or sidebar elements that make traditional raking and SPP picking impractical. For most Las Vegas homes, a ANSI Grade 1 deadbolt with a 1-inch bolt and hardened steel strike reinforcement is the cost-effective solution; high-security cylinders make sense when you have real threat context.

Q.06How do I know your tech is legitimate and not going to duplicate my key?

Every SwiftKey technician carries a photo ID and their Nevada locksmith license card — ask to see both. We never take your key out of your sight, and we never retain key codes after the job. We are bonded, meaning a surety company has vetted our background and financial standing. For lockout calls, we verify your ownership with a photo ID before opening any door or vehicle. If a locksmith declines to show their state license, do not let them in.

No pressure. No upsell. Just fixed.

One call. You're in.
